We are seeking a permanent, full-time experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Saint John office to provide legal support to lawyers in the Litigation practice group. Summary Of Responsibilities Review, organize and analyze documents, draft summary reports, pleadings, motions, affidavit of documents and chronologies; Input and manage files electronically with the use of litigation support software and provide status updates; Cross reference documents for discovery, e-discovery and/or trial exhibits; Assist lawyers with trial preparation and attending court when necessary; Record all billable and non-billable functions on a daily basis; and Other related clerical duties as required. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Spoken and written proficiency in English is a must and bilingualism is considered an asset; Successful completion of an accredited Paralegal Diploma Program or equivalent, combined with 1 – 2 years’ experience as a Litigation Paralegal; Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment; Highly organized, with the ability to manage and track multiple files at once; Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills, attention to detail is a must; and Team focused, self-starter with the ability to work independently.
