Maintenance Supervisor – Afternoon Shift Location: Kitchener, ON Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Compensation: $45/hour + $0.50/hour shift premium Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled trades professionals in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader coming from the trades who can drive maintenance performance, ensure equipment reliability, and support production efficiency. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of approximately 15 maintenance trades personnel Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventative and reactive work Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency Enforce health & safety standards and promote a strong safety culture Plan and schedule maintenance work, including shutdowns and projects Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes Manage performance, training, and development of team members Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting Qualifications Certified trades background required (Millwright or Electrician, or Tool & Die Maker) Proven experience in a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Hand role Strong experience within automotive, heavy industrial, steel, aluminum, or metal manufacturing environments Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and troubleshooting Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
