Requisition ID: 186630 POSITION SUMMARY Kiewit is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter Journeyperson for the Path2Zero project, located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. POSITION REQUIREMENTS * Valid Journeyman (JM) Carpenter Ticket or equivalent hours * Working Carpenter Foreperson positions are available * Experience with Peri formwork is considered an asset * Safety Tickets: * Valid Fall Protection is an asset but not required * Valid Confined Space is an asset but not required * Valid MEWP (Mobile Elevated Working Platform) is an asset but not required * Minimum of five years’ experience in industrial construction * A clean five-year driver’s abstract is required COMPENSATION AND SHIFT DETAILS * Base wage: $49.39 - $56.80 per hour as per CLAC Collective Agreement. Rate dependent on position * ITC Premium: $0.54 - $2.50 per hour on base hours (40 hours per week). ITC rate dependent on position * $150 per working day LOA will be offered for night shift only for non local candidates * Vacation pay: 6% on base hours (40 hours per week) * Statutory holiday pay: 3.6% on base hours (40 hours per week) * Night shift premium: $3.00 per hour if working nights * Shifts run Monday to Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday, 8 hours * Overtime and weekend work may be required ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * Candidates offered a position must successfully complete SureHire Drug, Alcohol, and 50lb Fitness to Work tests * No travel and living-out expenses provided * Due to the volume of applicants, only those meeting minimum qualifications will be contacted PROJECT INFORMATION The Path2Zero project is a major clean energy initiative supporting the decarbonization of industrial operations in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Upon its completion in 2028, the facility will be Canada’s largest clean hydrogen production site and among the largest globally.
