Job Description Ideal Products of Canada - Edmonton AB has an opening for a Machine Operator to join our team and enhance our business. In this role, the Machine Operator works in a team environment with Warehouse Labourer. This role requires cross training in various aspects of machine operation. Essential Job Functions Efficiently operate fabrication equipment and capable of learning other types of equipment. Effectively measure material with tape measure or other measuring devices. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Maintain quality and housekeeping. Comply with all safety requirements. Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 LBS. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job related tasks. What qualifications do you need? Compute basic math problems. Previous experience with press machines would be an asset. Previous experience working in a warehouse environment. Forklift Certification Is Preferred, But Not Required. Ideal Products of Canada is leading manufacturer of metal jacketing systems and fabricated products. Compensation Range $17.50 - $30.32 The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. TopBuild Corp. The Machine Operator will efficiently operate fabrication equipment and learn various types of equipment. They will also maintain quality and safety standards while working in a team environment.

Requirements

Candidates should be reliable team players with the ability to perform basic math and operate machinery. Previous experience in a warehouse and with press machines is preferred, along with forklift certification.
