Job description We are seeking a curious, motivated, and creative Marketing and Communications Intern/Co-op Student for a four-month placement from late August through the end of December. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Specialist and working closely with the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, the intern/co-op student will provide hands-on support across social media, video production, recruitment marketing, events, communications, and other marketing materials. This placement is designed as a practical learning experience for a university student who is early in their studies. You will receive clear assignments, regular guidance, and feedback while gaining exposure to the day-to-day work of an in-house marketing and communications team. We welcome creative ideas and will encourage you to bring forward appropriate social media trends and content opportunities. Position Profile: As a Marketing and Communications Intern/co-op Student, you would: · Assist with planning, creating, and organizing content for Crowe BGK social media channels, including short-form video content. · Research relevant social media trends and bring forward creative content and campaign ideas for consideration. · Support the filming and editing of recruitment, educational, event, and service-related content. · Help draft captions, prepare simple graphics, collect photos and information, and adapt approved content for different platforms. · Assist with research and article publication for Crowe BGK and its service lines · Support the coordination and execution of firm and recruitment events through assigned communications, logistics, materials, and event-day tasks. · Assist with updating proposal templates, firm profiles, employee bios, presentations, and other standard marketing materials. · Help draft, format, and proofread internal and external communications, recruitment materials, sponsorship posts, and website or intranet content. · Assist with maintaining and updating the firm's website, SharePoint, and other digital channels as assigned. · Organize photos, video files, templates, and other marketing assets to support the team's content library. · Review basic social media analytics and help identify opportunities to improve engagement. · Perform other related marketing and communications tasks as assigned. Requirements: · Enrolled in a university program in marketing, communications, business, or another related field. · Available for a full-time, four-month intern/co-op placement from late August through the end of December. · Strong interest in social media, short-form video, content creation, recruitment marketing, and professional-services marketing. · Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and current social media trends. · Basic experience with filming or video editing, or a strong willingness to learn. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is considered an asset. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. · Strong writing and communication skills in English and French. · Creative, professional, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working on multiple assigned tasks. · Comfortable receiving feedback, asking questions, and following review and approval processes. · Able to communicate progress, meet deadlines, and follow up when information or approvals are needed.3 What You Will Gain: · Hands-on experience with social media planning, short-form video production, filming, editing, and basic analytics. · Exposure to recruitment marketing, professional-services marketing, event coordination, internal communications, article publication, and client-facing materials. · Regular guidance, feedback, and opportunities to learn from members of the marketing and communications team. · Work samples and practical experience that can help build your portfolio and prepare you for future marketing roles.
