We also provide the hardware and software for temperature verification along the distribution process. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE (Overview & Key Responsibilities): Our Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to fill. * Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate areas. * Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. * Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift. * Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed safety policies. * Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. * Efficiently move product from staging and /or staging areas into trailers. * Ensure proper stock rotation and keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. * Assist in physical inventories. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Qualifications): * High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Must have 1-2 years previous forklift operating experience * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times daily * Must be able to perform basic mathematical operations. * Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 4 hours a day before a break period.
