About the Business Development & Operations Associate Position As a Business Development & Operations Associate, you will be accountable primarily to support company growth and internal operations. You are highly organized and proactive. This role will help ensure that business development opportunities are systematically identified, tracked, followed up and supported, while also coordinating selected internal operational priorities. The Associate will work closely with the President to maintain the business development pipeline, coordinate outreach, develop proposals and business development materials, and improve internal processes. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain the CRM, ensuring contacts, opportunities, activities and next steps are accurate and current. Track the business development pipeline and coordinate timely follow-ups. Conduct prospect research and coordinate and execute targeted outreach. Coordinate business development meetings, follow-ups and related activities. Develop and maintain business development resources, case studies, capability materials, and other company materials. Coordinate and support the development of proposals, RFP responses, and other business development materials. Track selected internal operational priorities and follow up with owners to ensure action items are completed. Identify opportunities to improve administrative and operational processes and workflows. You will be successful in this role if you have: An advanced degree in health science 1-2 years experience supporting leadership team with business development/ sales/ operations Experience in business development coordination, operations, project coordination, or a related role. Comfort working directly with senior leadership Strong organizational, communication and follow-up skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and ideally CRM platforms The ability to identify what needs to happen next rather than waiting for direction Experience in professional services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or medical communications is an asset. What We Offer Starting base salary of 55,000 CAD to 70,000 CAD, proportionate with experience and qualifications. During this interview, we will learn more about your background and experience, share details about the position, and answer any questions you may have. Successful candidates can expect a second in-person interview, which will include the Vice President, Finance and Vice President, Product & Innovation. During this interview, candidates will have the opportunity to deliver a 5-minute slide-based presentation on a topic of their choice.
