Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Fort McMurray, AB). Basemine 7x7 Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs engine overhauls unassisted Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software Qualifications 7x7 rotational days and nights location basemine HET - Offroad required Must pass D&A testing Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred) Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permit This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Customer service experience Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
