Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Sparwood, BC). 58.18/HR base rate plus premiums. 7x7 rotational shift, including day and night shifts Potential opportunities for 4x4 rotational schedules on days or nights, depending on operational requirements This position offers the opportunity to work on industry-leading equipment, support critical mining operations, and be part of a highly skilled team serving customers across the Elk Valley region. Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products Maintain own tools Responsibilities In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Completes complex internal engine repairs Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation Qualifications Field Service Technician - Mining Operations Elk Valley, BC Join our team as a Field Service Technician supporting mining customers throughout the Elk Valley, British Columbia. This position operates on a 7x7 rotation, with opportunities for 4x4 schedules, and includes both day and night shifts. Working directly at mine sites, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty equipment while delivering exceptional customer service in a safety-focused environment. Experience: Basic level field service work experience Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products Customer service experience Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
