Job Summary: Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician to join our Distribution business in Val D'Or. Will make an impact in the following ways: * Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop * Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools * Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles * Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies * Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products * Maintain own tools RESPONSIBILITIES In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: * Completes complex internal engine repairs * Performs engine overhauls unassisted * Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components * Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software * This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy * QSK 15-19 is required for this position QUALIFICATIONS Technician will be used for coverage in various regions in Canada The shift is 14 on and 14 off rotational shift Travel will be up to a min of 50% of the time in some cases - Bilingual communication skills is preferred Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
