Role: TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) Developer Title: AVP/VP Location: Montreal(Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Fulltime Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required Required Experience: 6-8+ years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and optimization of TM1 applications, integrations, and automation workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in TM1 development, multidimensional modeling, Python-based automation, and SQL-driven data operations. This role also requires a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement, agile collaboration, and leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain TM1 cubes, dimensions, rules, and TurboIntegrator (TI) processes. • Build and support TM1 reports, views, subsets, and administrative components. • Develop Python scripts for TM1 automation, report generation, and system integrations (TM1py, REST API). • Implement and maintain integrations between TM1 and external systems such as data warehouses or cloud platforms using Python-based ETL pipelines. • Optimize SQL queries, data models, and performance tuning for TM1 data feeds. • Apply GenAI, Copilot, and AI-based tools to accelerate development, scripting, automation, and testing. • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability of TM1 reports, pipelines, and integrations. • Collaborate with global teams, business stakeholders, and technical partners to deliver high-quality solutions. Required Technical Skills • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) development, administration, or support. • Strong expertise in multidimensional data modeling, cube design, dimension hierarchies, and view/subset management. • Proficiency in Python for TM1 automation and integration (TM1py, REST API). • Experience building and supporting integrations between TM1 and external systems using Python- based ETL pipelines. • Solid SQL skills including query optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning. • Experience using GenAI/Copilot/AI tools for code completion, automation, and test case generation. • Experience with automated testing and testing frameworks for TM1 and Python-based integrations. Additional Skills (Good to Have)• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake). • Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization. • Exposure to finance or investment banking domains. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Flexible, dynamic, and eager to learn new technologies; solution-oriented mindset.

Design, develop, and optimize TM1 applications, including cubes, dimensions, and TurboIntegrator processes. Implement Python-based automation and ETL pipelines to integrate TM1 with external data systems.

Requires 6-8+ years of experience in TM1 development with strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Candidates should be skilled in multidimensional modeling and the use of AI tools for development acceleration.
