Job summary

Assembly Process Planner Job Description Expectations: Minimum 5 Y of experience. Graduate in Mechanical Engineering Plans, writes, and develops assembly & test instruction. Strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications (dimensional and geometric tolerancing - GD&T). Defines the assembly process, tooling, and test equipment necessary to assemble modules and engines conforming to P&WC quality and engineering standards. Interprets complex drawings, documents, and engineering specifications. Maintains a close relationship with engineering in regards to test instruction creation. Incorporates quality alerts & engineering design changes. Analyze technical drawings to establish optimal manufacturing processes and estimate production costs. Supports production through the improvement of assembly procedures and production readiness. Supports production in the maintenance and improvement of test instructions. The first point of contact for the creation of temporary assemblies and test procedures during an investigation. Leads or participates in a quality clinic to assure the maintenance of key performance indicators. Fast-paced, focusing on continuous improvement (often utilizing Quality tools)
