Summary The Brand Experience Specialist will work with the Sr Manager, Brand Experience and Foodservice to develop and deliver compelling experiences at our trade, consumer and in-office Marketing Kitchen tasting events as well as shopper marketing activations to build brand awareness, drive trial and loyalty. In this role, you will help to build the strategic plans, execute programs, manage our trade and consumer events and sampling initiatives while ensuring alignment to our business objectives. This role will also support marketing programs, including in-store demos and retail activations, and serve as the marketing lead for our branded merchandise and warehouse management. This 3-month contract offers a unique opportunity to bring Daiya’s brand to life through memorable experiences, events, and consumer activations. You’ll play a hands-on role in connecting our brand with consumers, customers, and communities while collaborating across teams to create experiences that are as bold and delightful as the products we make. Job Responsibilities Brand Experience Marketing Support the development of annual trade show and consumer event schedule and plans. Lead the planning, execution, administration, and onsite management of trade show and consumer event logistics including vendors, logistics, event budgets, registrations, travel, product shipments, and event promotional materials. Support the development and execution of event marketing programs, including trade shows, consumer events, event briefs, run-of-show documents, event and sales materials, cooking standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other event-related assets. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Innovation, Regulatory, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to align event marketing activities with business priorities. Lead key event and activities of our Marketing Kitchen and its capability Manage brand experience assets inventory and assets are current, organized, and accessible through warehouses. Demo Sampling Programs Support the development and execution of retail sampling programs, including in-store demos, retailer-specific initiatives, demo materials, and marketing assets in partnership with Shopper Marketing, Sales, and external agencies. Develop demo scopes of work, timelines, budgets, training materials, and execution plans. Coordinate store lists, scheduling, inventory requirements, staffing, and activation logistics with Sales, retailers, agencies, and field teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver engaging customer and consumer experiences. Performance, Reporting & Brand Stewardship Monitor event and instore demo performance, and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness. Maintain event calendars, project timelines, budgets, invoicing and post-event reporting. Evaluate event performance and identify opportunities to improve future activations and partnerships. Compile marketing performance metrics and reports, identifying insights and recommendations to support decision-making. Ensure consistency of brand messaging and visual identity across marketing materials for trade and consumer events as well as and shopper marketing instore demo programs. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, shopper marketing, event marketing, brand marketing, or a related discipline. Consumer packaged goods (CPG), food and beverage, retail, or consumer brand experience is considered an asset. Experience coordinating events, trade shows, promotional campaigns, or consumer marketing initiatives. Experience supporting cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Related Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working across digital tools and platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and external partners. Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in an evolving environment. Takes ownership and brings a solutions-oriented, adaptable approach to getting things done. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to turn insights into action. Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% across Canada and the U.S. to represent Daiya at trade shows, consumer events, retail activations, and customer meetings, including evenings and weekends when required by event schedules. Ability to support event set-up and take-down as needed, while representing Daiya with energy, authenticity, and a strong sense of hospitality. Passion for food, natural products, and creating engaging brand experiences is an asset; graphic design skills are a plus. The pay range for this position is from $30.00 per hour; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
