Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join the Montreal team based on-site in the Montreal office. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and providing clear, concise reports for leadership. Responsibilities Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports. Reconcile accounts. Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments. Balance rent roll. Receive and issue payments. Qualifications & Required Skills College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Accounting Technology/Bookkeeping, or equivalent experience required. 7-12 months of experience in related field Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Strong organizational and analytical skills - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management skills required. English and/or French proficiency Ability to work on-site, with no hybrid or remote work permitted. Compensation & Benefits Wage ($): 36$/hour, 32 hours per week.
