IT Security Analyst (supporting proxy technologies)

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of IT Security Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks Work arrangement: 2 days in the office per week. Typical Day in Role: Manage and update proxy security policies across global environments. Review, analyze, and implement URL filtering rules and access controls. Troubleshoot user access issues, including scenario‑based investigations (e.g., website access failures). Work closely with business units across 35 countries to understand regional compliance requirements. Collaborate with a team of five proxy specialists to support daily operational needs. Participate in security reviews, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support onboarding, configuration, and optimization of Zscaler or equivalent proxy platforms. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: • 10+ years in IT, including 6+ years in security-focused roles supporting proxy technologies. • 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience managing enterprise proxy services (Zscaler preferred, Broadcom, Forcepoint, Netskope, etc.). • Proven experience writing and maintaining proxy security policies in large organizations. Strong foundational knowledge of: -Proxy architectures -URL filtering technologies -Web security controls • 1+ years’ experience to reflect strong knowledge of networking: being able to troubleshoot networks. • Strong understanding of web security attacks and secure proxy configurations. Nice-To-Have Skills: •Experience supporting Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) specifically. •Experience in financial institutions or other highly regulated industries. •Knowledge of regional compliance requirements across multiple geographies. •Experience with enterprise-scale change management processes. Soft Skills Required: • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization • Strong decision making, forward thinking and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction Education: • Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field preferred Public cloud provider certificates CISSP, CCSP an asset

Manage and update global proxy security policies, including URL filtering and access controls. Collaborate with international business units and a specialist team to troubleshoot user access and optimize proxy platforms.

Requires over 10 years of IT experience with at least 6 years in security-focused proxy roles and hands-on experience with enterprise proxy services like Zscaler. A technical degree is preferred along with strong networking and web security knowledge.
