We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 3–4 years of experience in software quality assurance and manual testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating and executing test cases and test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases. Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and technical requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues. Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality and testing perspective. Analyze test results and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Perform regression testing to ensure fixes and new features do not impact existing functionality. Maintain clear and organized testing documentation and test evidence. Support release validation and ensure applications meet defined quality standards. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing practices, and documentation. Required Qualifications 3–4 years of experience in software QA/manual testing. Strong experience creating and executing test cases and test plans. Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with developers and cross-functional teams. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in the Canadian banking or financial services industry is considered an asset. Experience testing web and/or mobile applications. Familiarity with API testing and basic SQL/database validation. Experience working with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
