Salesforce Developer

Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms, and government sectors. We are currently seeking a Salesforce Developer for a contract opportunity. Role: Salesforce Developer Work Arrangement: 2 days/week in office, currently Mondays and Wednesdays, subject to change as needed Contract Duration: 6 months Extension / Conversion: Possible extension or conversion to FTE Responsibilities: • Work with key stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies • Gather requirements from business units and translate them into clear specifications for programmers and developers • Read and write SQL queries • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation decisions • Demonstrate strong knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities • Support highly complex business processes • Work on multiple projects as a project team member • Act as a liaison between business teams and IT teams to provide technical solutions that meet user needs • Support Salesforce platform development, workflow processes, integrations, and SDLC activities Must Have Skills: • 10+ years of Salesforce development experience • Minimum 1 recent project with a Financial Services Cloud environment • Previous financial services experience is critical, such as banking or large insurance • 2+ years of working knowledge with Salesforce tools used to execute and manage workflow processes across the SDLC, such as Salesforce DX • Experience working on projects requiring integration with various systems, including on-prem systems, Azure, API connectivity, real-time connectivity, and ETL tools • Experience reading and writing SQL queries Nice to Have: • Experience with nCino Credit Origination, a managed package on top of Salesforce • Knowledge of Oracle stored procedures • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

The Salesforce Developer will work with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategies and gather requirements to translate them into specifications for developers. They will also support Salesforce platform development and act as a liaison between business and IT teams.

Candidates must have over 10 years of Salesforce development experience, including recent work in a Financial Services Cloud environment. Previous experience in financial services, along with knowledge of Salesforce tools and SQL, is critical.
