Job Title: Logistics Lead Location: Calgary, AB Department: Operations Reports to: Logistics Manager Key Relationships: Production, Planning, Inventory, and Quality Assurance Role Purpose / Summary: The purpose of a Logistics Lead is to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods while maintaining compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction. They play a strategic role in optimizing logistics processes, leading teams, and driving continuous improvement to support the organization’s overall supply chain goals. Their work directly impacts the company’s ability to deliver products to customers reliably and competitively. Key Responsibilities: Receiving goods into the warehouse and distributing them to the appropriate parties. Verifying and counting contents of shipments to ensure accuracy. Building pallets with products and preparing them for shipment. Providing overage and destruction counts to the Logistics Manager after processing. Maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse. Assisting in inventory counts as needed. Notifying the Logistics Manager of shortages or re-order needs. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications: Any technical certificate or diploma or a minimum of one year of work experience. Minimum one year of experience in a shipping/receiving role. Minimum one year of experience working in a team environment. Experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is an asset but not required. Knowledge of the Cannabis Act and Regulations is an asset but not required. Key Competencies: Excellent communication skills. Commitment to continuous professional development.
