WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for a **Senior Project Manager, Product Development & Launch** to drive highly complex products across the portfolio pipeline, from the early stages of planning and development through to global launch. In this highly visible and autonomous role, you’ll be the central anchor connecting our cross-functional teams across **Scientific, Supply Chain, Brand and Finance**, ensuring product roadmaps are delivered on time, on budget and within scope. You’ll lead complex projects, proactively manage risk and deviations, partner closely with the Director and Senior Leadership on project strategy, and lead and develop junior Project Managers towards success. This is a fixed-term contract until March 2028 MUST HAVES: 7+ years of project management experience 3+ years of people management/leadership experience Strong risk management and Senior Leadership communication skills PAY RANGE The anticipated base salary for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 CAD. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE Own a portfolio of projects within a brand or sub-category, working closely with Brand, Scientific and Supply Chain teams to deliver against product roadmaps and commitments. Lead end-to-end new product launches, from research and development through Brand/Design, Packaging and Supply Chain execution to global launch. Plan and manage complex projects across scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets and timelines, ensuring projects remain on track and aligned to agreed specifications. Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, providing clear visibility on project status, progress, risks and key decisions to stakeholders and Senior Leadership. Proactively identify, assess and mitigate risks and deviations, escalating effectively and leading high-risk mitigation discussions with stakeholders and Leadership with minimal support. Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional questions, requests and updates relating to project scope, timelines, resources and budgets, ensuring information is communicated and escalated appropriately. Build strong cross-functional alignment, ensuring teams understand their responsibilities, deliverables and required timeframes, while facilitating communication across departments. Partner with the PD&L Director and Senior Management on portfolio strategy, project strategy, scope accelerations and other initiatives that support the product development lifecycle. Create and improve project processes, including process flows, project plans, issue and risk management, financial management, resourcing and communications, while supporting continuous operational improvement. Lead, manage and develop junior Project Managers, setting clear objectives, reviewing KPIs, providing continuous feedback and coaching, and supporting their growth and development. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE 7+ years of project implementation/project management experience, with proven experience managing complex projects and competing priorities. 3+ years of people management and/or leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach and develop team members. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline; PMP certification or equivalent is an asset. Experience in product development and product launch within the cosmetics or consumer packaged goods industry is an asset, alongside strong business acumen and an understanding of how to implement and manage change. Strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills, with the confidence to lead conversations with Senior Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, alongside proficiency in project management tools and approaches including Wrike, Agile and Waterfall.
