Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assembles components per bill of material requirements; Assembly of hydraulic/pneumatic systems; Perform functional testing on assemblies, per engineered drawings, test procedures and/or product line criteria; Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards and workmanship standards; Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches and written instructions to assemble parts or products; Maintenanace of machinery, equipment and good housekeeping in the work area; Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; Some technical training preferred; 3-5 years of expereicne in hydraulics and mechanical assembly. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Mechanical background and general knowledge in the use of basic hand and power tools, drill press and mill, tube bending equipment and hydraulic test equipment; Excellent communication skills and ability to work on multifunction teams; Ability to balance customer demands against company constraints; Ability to operate a forklift and overhead cranes. Physical Demands: Must be capable of lifting and moving material weighing up to thirty (30) pounds; Physical requirements are those typically found in a office and fabrication / welding shop environment. Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses and other PPE as required to work in fabrication / welding shop and yard. Location and Work Environment: This position is located in Houston – Texas – USA;

Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience in hydraulics and mechanical assembly. Candidates must be proficient with hand and power tools, tube bending equipment, and have the ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
