DOME Business Operations Consultant (Future Opportunities) Posting Start Date: 8/22/26 Summary As a Senior Consultant, Business Operations, you will drive operational excellence, financial governance, and strategic planning for complex, high-impact marketing and business transformation initiatives on 1-year fixed term. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to oversee large-scale operational programs, optimize spend management, support annual planning cycles, and enable AI-driven process innovation. Leveraging strong business acumen, program management expertise, and an AI-native mindset, you will help design scalable operating models, improve organizational efficiency, and deliver measurable business outcomes. What will your typical day look like? Lead operational initiatives supporting business performance, resource planning, and spend optimization. Manage budgets, forecasting, financial tracking, and reporting activities. Support strategic planning, business priorities, and transformation initiatives. Develop governance processes, reporting frameworks, and operating rhythms. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and achieve business objectives. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage data, automation, and AI tools to streamline workflows. Support business cases, investment recommendations, and operational planning. Monitor performance metrics, risks, and dependencies, providing actionable insights. Create executive presentations, dashboards, and status reports. Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Research emerging technologies and industry best practices to identify innovation opportunities. About The Team You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing marketing team focused on accelerating the adoption of cloud technologies across Canada’s public sector. The team works closely with global and regional stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven programs that support public sector organizations in their digital transformation journeys. Enough About Us, Let’s Talk About You Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field. 4-6 years of experience in business operations, program management, strategy, consulting, or related roles. Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. Strong project and program management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives. Experience developing governance processes, operating models, and executive reporting. Proven ability to drive operational improvements and business transformation initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Experience supporting strategic planning and business planning activities. Ability to influence stakeholders and build collaborative relationships. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Experience using data and insights to drive business decisions. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with AI, automation, and digital transformation tools. It would be great for you to have some of these nice to haves as well: Experience supporting marketing, operations, or go-to-market teams. Experience managing large budgets and cost optimization initiatives. Experience implementing AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions. Familiarity with generative AI and enterprise AI platforms. Experience leading transformation or organizational change initiatives. Knowledge of portfolio management and resource planning. Experience developing business cases and strategic recommendations. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Experience working in large matrixed organizations. Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools. Relevant certifications in Project Management, Agile, Business Analysis, or Change Management. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
