Position Overview SAP S/4HANA SD Lead Consultant – Global Rollout Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD Lead Consultant to support the Canada rollout of an existing SAP Global Template. The consultant will lead SAP SD Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard activities, assess Canadian business requirements against the existing global solution, manage approved localizations, and ensure alignment with the global design while minimizing unnecessary deviations. The role will also support global e-invoicing and electronic document compliance requirements across multiple countries and work closely with Finance, MM, Logistics, Tax, Integration, and business teams. Key Responsibilities Lead SAP S/4HANA SD Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard workshops. Assess the existing Global SD Template against Canada entity requirements. Support the Global Template rollout / localization for the Canadian business. Identify and document fit/gap requirements and approved local deviations. Configure and support: Sales Orders Pricing Deliveries Shipping Billing Credit / Debit Processes Returns Output Management Support integration between SD, Finance, MM, Logistics, and external systems. Analyze country-specific business, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements. Support global e-invoicing and electronic document compliance requirements. Assess e-invoicing requirements for countries including KSA, Romania, Turkey, Barbados, UAE, Canada, USA, and Pakistan. Support integration with tax authorities, government platforms, Peppol, and other applicable electronic invoicing networks. Support inbound and outbound invoice processing. Coordinate with Finance, Tax, and Integration teams. Prepare functional specifications for required enhancements and integrations. Support testing of country-specific e-invoicing scenarios. Validate invoice, tax, customer, and regulatory data. Support SIT, UAT, Mock Cutover, Production Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare. Provide production support and resolve functional issues during deployment and hypercare. Ensure the solution follows the Global Template and SAP Clean Core principles. Required Experience 15+ years of SAP SD experience. 7+ years of SAP consulting experience in North America. Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA SD experience. Proven experience with Global SAP Rollouts / Global Template implementations. Strong experience with Fit-to-Template / Fit-to-Standard methodology. Experience with SAP S/4HANA localization and country-specific requirements. Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. Strong understanding of SD integration with FI, MM, Logistics, and external systems. Experience with global e-invoicing / electronic document compliance. Experience supporting multiple country localizations. Experience with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) or equivalent SAP e-invoicing solutions preferred. Experience with SAP RISE / S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition preferred. Strong understanding of SAP Clean Core and standard SAP functionality. Experience supporting SIT, UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Requirements

Requires 15+ years of SAP SD experience, 7+ years of North American SAP consulting experience, strong hands-on S/4HANA SD expertise, and proven global rollout and fit-to-template experience. Candidates should have strong OTC and integration knowledge, experience with country localization and e-invoicing, and the ability to support testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stakeholder coordination; SAP DRC and SAP RISE experience are preferred.
