Who You Are You are a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager who is excited to join our fast-growing organization as a Practice Business Partner. A hybrid role located at dentalcorp’s Toronto Support Centre and working closely with the Director, Finance Business Partnering, you will be responsible for driving business performance within the dental practices of our company. As the Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with practice managers, regional and Senior director leaders in operations to deliver valuable financial insights, enhance decision-making processes, and drive sustainable growth. This position requires a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Impact You’ll Have Drive practice performance by partnering with Operations leaders and practice managers to turn financial insights into actions that improve profitability, cost management, and sustainable growth. Influence strategic decision-making through timely reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and clear recommendations that help leaders understand risks, opportunities, and key business drivers. Act as a trusted finance partner by building strong relationships across practices, regional teams, and cross-functional partners to support alignment, accountability, and effective financial execution. Develop and support a high-performing finance team by coaching Senior Financial Analysts, promoting best practices, and fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong service delivery. In This Role, You Will Financial Management and Strategy: Collaborate with practice managers and regional and senior director leaders in operations to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Support the Director, Finance Business Partnering in managing the hands-on day-to-day activities of various finance functions. Prepare & review regular financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to track key financial metrics and identify trends. Provide financial guidance, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes. Drive financial performance and profitability by identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Business Partnering and Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner to practice managers and regional and senior director leaders in operations, offering financial expertise and insights. Support the practice budget and forecast process by collaborating with the FP&A team and senior director leaders in operations. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication. Prepare regular financial reports and presentations to support operations decision making. Support practices by reviewing and responding to dc assist tickets within required SLAs Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies Provide guidance and support during audits, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audit processes. Team Management and Development: Manage a team of Senior Financial Analysts, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the finance team. Encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the team. What You’ll Bring Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance role, preferably as a Finance Manager. Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems. Strong business partnering skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in finance. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
