The Department of National Defence is seeking a Housing Projects and Maintenance Technician to join its Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) team in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. In this role, you'll support the inspection, maintenance, repair, and improvement of CFHA housing units. Working with contractors, service providers, and housing occupants, you'll coordinate maintenance activities, conduct inspections, oversee repair work, and provide technical support to help ensure military family housing remains safe, functional, and well maintained. We're looking for candidates who have: A secondary school diploma Experience renovating residential single-family, semi-detached, or row housing units in a professional or commercial setting or experience conducting residential housing or commercial property inspections, including assessing conditions and determining required maintenance and repairs Experience in property or facility maintenance, or project management The Yellowknife Housing Services Centre is a dynamic team of seven full-time employees serving approximately 190 Canadian Armed Forces and RCMP families in the region. You will play an important role in the implementation of housing services while working with a dedicated team. This is a permanent English Essential position.
