As a senior legal affairs advisor, you help protect the organization's legal interests by ensuring it complies with all laws. You also play a key role in making sure that the organization's rights are protected, and obligations are met. You represent the organization in situations involving its legal interests. You will work with the various units responsible for procurement, and digital and technological development at Desjardins Group. More specifically, you provide legal support to the procurement, technological and digital development teams during the acquisition or deployment of products and services within Desjardins Group components. More specifically, you will be required to: Issue legal opinions, and draft and validate business agreements that have an impact on the organization Analyze, interpret and monitor changes to the applicable legislation and regulations Participate in representing the organization or negotiating with various external organizations or partners Coordinate the mandates entrusted to outside attorneys Help draft files for the organization's decision-making bodies ​ What we offer* Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment * Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria.
