What You Will Do Under the supervision and direction of the General Manager, the Shuttle Driver is a key team member of the Keskorie Boarding Home who will be instrumental in providing a warm welcome ensuring seamless transitions for our guests. The hours of work are eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days a week, including any statutory holidays which falls on a weekday compensated at a rate of 1.5 times the regular rate. A Day In The Life * Welcoming new clients / patients * Drive safely and obey all traffic laws to ensure patients are transported in a safe and timely manner * Perform walk-around inspection of vehicle each shift (before start and end of shift) * Complete Incident Report when required * Complete Daily Pre-Shift Vehicle Inspection Checklist * Communicating with Reception on pickups, drop offs and deliveries of patients’ prescriptions * Assist with client’s luggage when required What You Bring * Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent experience * Ability to speak an Aboriginal language and knowledge of culture are definite assets * Good written and oral communication skills * Self-motivated and trustworthy * Standard First Aid w/CPR, AED * Ability to follow company processes, policies and procedures Job Requirements * Class 4 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract * Ability to lift 23 kg (50 lbs) * Updated Immunization Record * Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check CLOSING DATE: Open Until Filled Priority Statement: We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported. Requirements
Candidates must possess a Class 4 Driver's License with a clean abstract and a Criminal Record check with Vulnerable Sector screening. Grade 12 completion and Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification are required.
