Title: Facilities Manager Job Family: Property & Facilities Management Hours: 7-3:30 / 8-4:30 M-F Remote/Hybrid/In-person: In - person Location: Longueuil, QC Assignment Duration: 3 months About the position You lead the housekeeping operations of several customer sites in the advanced manufacturing sector, including aerospace. These sites include production areas, cleanrooms or controlled areas, offices and support areas. You are responsible for the quality of cleaning and the profitability of the portfolio, you direct site supervisors, you plan the workforce on all shifts and you are the main contact for the customer on a regional scale. What you'll do • Take full responsibility for the financial (P&L) and operational results of a multi-site housekeeping portfolio. • Lead, recruit, mentor and evaluate supervisors and site managers, and prepare for succession. Support the stability of front-line teams by addressing turnover and absenteeism. • Design and maintain housekeeping workforce models: workloads, headcount, productivity rate (ft²/hour), shift design, and coverage of 24/7 or multi-shift production schedules. • Establish and audit cleanliness standards, procedures, and quality programs, including inspections, performance indicators (KPIs), service levels (SLAs), and remediation plans. • Oversee routine and specialized maintenance programs, including floor maintenance and cleaning of cleanrooms and controlled areas. • Maintain customer relationships at site and regional levels, and lead quarterly reviews (QBR) and service reviews. • Oversee health and safety, WHMIS, chemical management, and safety requirements specific to industrial sites. • Manage subcontractors, suppliers of additional labour, as well as equipment and maintenance products. • Support maintenance contract transitions, new site start-ups, and scope changes. • Lead budgeting and forecasting, control labour and product costs, and identify productivity and efficiency gains. • Ensure compliance with provincial labour standards and, where applicable, collective agreements.
