We're proud to be a Certified B Corporation and one of Canada's Greenest Employers, committed to using our design practice as a force for good in the world. \n How you'll make a difference: Prepare high quality Revit models and engineering drawings for mass timber, steel, masonry and concrete buildings Work with architects, interior designers, mechanical and electrical engineers to create truly integrated and sustainable design solutions Opportunity to grow your knowledge by attending site reviews and inspections, as well as review the contractor’s work to ensure compliance with the project drawings and specifications Prepare documents required for approvals, and construction cost estimates, tenders, and contracts Provide design support to engineers, architects, and other technologists Work with other team members to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained Who you are: A Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Technology 5+ years of structural modelling experience working on mixed-use commercial/residential, school and post-secondary, healthcare, or institutional buildings is preferred Knowledge of building codes is an asset Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Collaborative, team oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines \n $75,000 - $90,000 a year At DIALOG, we believe compensation should reflect the unique talent each person brings to our team.
