About the Role Diligent HR Solutions, are looking for a skilled Welder Fitter to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and welding metal components to build and repair structures and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication experience, can read blueprints accurately, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Training provided. You will mainly work with steel and learn to work with aluminum when required. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Measure, cut, and fit metal materials to required dimensions Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick processes Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines Requirements Proven experience as a Welder Fitter or similar role Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Good attention to detail and workmanship Physical ability to lift materials and work in various positions Strong commitment to safety Qualifications Welding certification or trade qualification preferred CWB certification (asset) or 3 years welding experience High school diploma or equivalent Additional safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) are an asset What We Offer Competitive wages and overtime opportunities Benefits package (health, dental, etc.) Ongoing training and career growth opportunities Supportive and safety-focused work environment Health benefits • Dental plan • Health care plan • Paramedical services coverage • Vision care benefits Financial benefits • Group insurance benefits • Life insurance Other benefits • Free parking available • Other benefits • Parking available • Travel insurance How to Apply Submit your resume along with details of your welding experience and certifications.
