The Position Reporting to the Concentrator Maintenance and Service Superintendent, the Maintenance Services and Project Engineering Supervisor will coordinate and oversee the operation and execution of project(s) and various site maintenance services on-site. Included, but not limited to scheduling engineers, technicians or skilled trades to perform inspections, site visits, or coordinating repairs with multiple contractors on major construction projects. The Maintenance Services and Project Engineering Supervisor makes sure that the appropriate staff, equipment, and materials are on hand to complete work on time and aligned with all Discovery expectations. By interfacing with field workers, clients, and third-party service suppliers, the Project Engineering Supervisor will ensure the smooth operation of field activities, including field safety and work quality. The role is also responsible for preparing estimates, capital requests, presentations, writing specifications and preparing bids as well as other duties and tasks as required. The Project Engineering Supervisor may be asked to carryout additional work to ensure the safe efficient production at Kidd Operations as required. Skills And Qualifications Strong project management background and with knowledge of engineering design and project scheduling Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction management would be an asset Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Technical report writing skillset Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Safety conscience with the ability to work in a team environment Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills University degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a technology diploma is preferred or relevant experience. Compensation And Benefits Competitive total compensation package including: Health, Dental, Life, AD&D, Disability, Healthcare and Wellness Spending Accounts, Virtual Care and Employee and Family Assistance Program; Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and Annual compensation of CAD$91,000 to CAD$114,000.
