Job summary

Assurance Senior | $85,000 – $105,000 | Burlington (Hybrid) There's a difference between being busy... ...and being indispensable. Busy people clear today's workload. Indispensable people build tomorrow's client relationships. This Assurance opportunity is with a small CPA firm in Burlington where you'll play a visible role in the future of the practice. Assurance is the immediate priority, but this isn't a role where you'll spend every day reviewing audit files. You'll also work across compilations, tax, and client advisory, giving you the variety that's becoming increasingly rare in public accounting. There's also an opportunity that doesn't appear on many job adverts. One of the Partners plans to retire in the coming years, creating the potential for an established compilation portfolio to be passed on to the right person. Why this role stands out: $85,000 – $105,000 salary Hybrid working Burlington location Small CPA firm where you'll have genuine influence Strong assurance focus with exposure to compilations and tax Direct access to clients and Partners Potential opportunity to inherit an established book of work Long-term career progression rather than just another management role What they're looking for: 3+ years of public accounting experience Strong assurance experience across reviews and audits Comfortable reviewing compilations and tax work Strong working paper and file review skills Excellent client communication skills Someone who enjoys mentoring staff and building lasting client relationships Some management roles give you more responsibility. The best ones give you more opportunity. This could be one of them. If you'd like to know more about this position, just hit the apply button and I'll be in touch.
