DMC is growing quickly, and we’re looking for a Junior Geotechnical Engineer or Geoscientist for our Vancouver team. Our expanding geotechnical group works across British Columbia, delivering practical, high‑quality engineering grounded in strong fundamentals and a culture that values collaboration. Our work focuses on civil infrastructure, and we have two main disciplines – geotechnical and dam engineering. Leveraging the broad Canadian and international experience of our founders, we work across multiple sectors - energy, transportation, municipal, marine, oil & gas and mining. Our clients include provincial agencies, municipalities, First Nation communities and contractors. We are seeking a technically strong engineer or geoscientist with experience in geotechnical investigation, geotechnical design and construction support. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geological Engineering or Geoscience (minimum) Minimum 1 year of relevant geotechnical engineering experience Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC Strong technical writing, communication, and project coordination skills Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record Legally eligible to work in Canada Strong work ethic with a drive to excel and deliver high‑quality work Effective communicator with excellent oral and written skills Able to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment A sense of humor and a collaborative attitude Supplementary Skills: Experience conducting geotechnical site investigations Familiarity with industry standard geotechnical software (e.g., gINT, CPeT IT, LPILE, GROUP, Settle3, SLIDE, RS-Seismic) Background in materials testing and construction inspection Come and work on gnarly projects like this:

Requirements
