As a Manager, Privately Held Business Group your responsibilities will include: Leading and executing client engagements across different industries and sectors Analysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, complete various engagements including compilations and reviews Contributing to new business development by understanding all Grant Thornton services and by using your credibility in the field Acting as a leader in the business unit, service line, and firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan Being a leader in the firm by actively contributing to the development and execution of the office business plan Maximizing engagement profitability by effectively utilizing engagement resources Planning and leading teams to ensure that client expectations are exceeded Supervision and mentoring of an accounting team, including the review of files Leading through the coaching and performance management process of the practice by providing ongoing feedback, conducting timely performance reviews, and delivering training to develop team members Doane Grant Thornton If you’re a bit like us, you’re driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires at least 5 years of experience in public accounting with strong technical expertise in accounting and tax. A CPA designation and proficiency in Caseware, Taxprep, and QuickBooks are considered assets.
