The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Accountant. This job is full-time permanent. Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, your role will consist of recording and monitoring financial accounting transactions while supporting the corporate accounting function. Your challenges: * Prepare accounting entries * Perform month-end closing processes, including: * Intercompany reconciliations * Month-end reporting * Analyze various balance sheet accounts * Support analysis of financing expenses as well as environmental and legal provisions * Participate in meetings with other departments to discuss and follow up on issues identified through reconciliations and analyses * Contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budget preparation * Assist in year-end tax forms and financial reporting preparation Your skills: * Strong interest in learning and acquiring new skills * Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines * Proactive, with a collaborative team-oriented approach Your profile: * Bilingual French and English (Required for all Corporate Positions)* * University degree in Accounting (completed or in progress) * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role * Professional designation (CPA) is an asset * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Knowledge of GAAP and SAP (FI/CO) is considered an asset What we are offering * Competitive salary and annual bonus * At least three weeks of vacation and three floating holidays a year from the first day of work, depending on your experience * Full range of group insurance from the first day of work * Telemedicine services * Defined-contribution pension plan with generous employer participation from the first day of work * Employee and family assistance program * Education assistance program * Hybrid workplace: in-person and remote work * Work environment based on respect, inclusion and diversity * Office accessible by public transit (*) English bilingual: If listed, this qualification is required since this function requires regular verbal and/or written interaction with customers, partners and/or our American subsidiaries.
