The location in Skookumchuck, British Columbia, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Contract Buyer. This job is part-time temporary. Sources and procures supplies, services and other goods ensuring they meet or exceed internal expectations. Reviews and analyzes supplier / contractors proposals and make selection recommendations to end user. Facilitates the sourcing of site materials and services by communicating business needs to vendors / service providers and clarifying vendor issues to mill departments. Keeps up to date with new products, equipment and suppliers in order to recommend improvements in the quality, terms, delivery schedules of materials and services purchased.
