Based in Surrey this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing as a QA Engineer, supporting the delivery of our Healthcare Project. Reporting to the UK Quality Manager. The QA/QC Engineer shall operate within the framework of the ISO documented Quality Management System on an electrical project environment involving the installation of heavy electrical equipment, high voltage systems and general electrical services. This primarily consists of but is not limited to the generation, Issuing, recording and verification of punch list for the Electrical systems. Your day will include: Review and monitoring of the quality project controls raising quality items against OFCI vendors and other contractors where appropriate and to identify quality items raised against Dornan Engineering Ltd, disturbing those items to the responsible Dornan Engineering Ltd supervisor and sub- contractor and ensuring a timely close out of the actions. Familiarisation of the scope of each system, specification and installation Familiarisation of the Del quality plan ,the GC quality plan and the client quality plan Implementation of the site quality plan Attend quality review meetings with the GC and client Give feedback to your line manager on the Quality process on site and issue improvement recommendations. Generate and close out punch lists and generate quality statistics for tracking and monitoring purposes. Use of the project Web based quality application to generate reports and close out actions. Co-ordinate with the client on the schedule of walk downs. Attend walk down inspections with the GC and client. Requirements
Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in a similar construction role with strong knowledge of ISO 9001. A relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
