Sous la supervision du directeur des ventes, le représentant des ventes est responsable de la réalisation des objectifs de vente de son territoire conformément à la mission et au plan stratégique de l'entreprise. Il doit être en mesure par la présentation de l'entreprise, ses produits et ses services, de démontrer la valeur de Duchesne à sa clientèle actuelle et potentielle. Il exécute l'ensemble des activités relatives à la promotion, à la vente et au service après-vente des produits et services de l'entreprise. Il est aussi responsable de stimuler la vente par des efforts de prospection entre autres auprès des entrepreneurs. Le titulaire du poste en plus de faire la vente des produits Duchesne, conseille la clientèle sur les applications et le marchandisage de ces derniers afin d'assurer des ventes optimales chez le client et un service à la clientèle efficace et de qualité. Le représentant des ventes Martimes est aussi responsable de la collecte et de la diffusion d'information du marché. RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES Réalise les objectifs de vente de son territoire conformément à la mission et au plan stratégique de l'entreprise; Représente les produits et services de l'entreprise auprès de sa clientèle actuelle et potentielle tout en transmettant l'image ainsi que les valeurs de Duchesne; Présente les politiques de l'entreprise de façon constructive à la clientèle Bâtit et maintien des relations d'affaires solides avec les clients et les membres du personnel de Duchesne; Collabore à la fixation des objectifs de vente de son territoire en tenant compte des objectifs établis en matière de développement des affaires; Effectue la gestion et la planification efficace de ses activités à l'intérieur du territoire qui lui est assigné en utilisant les outils de gestion mis à sa disposition. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES · Détenir un baccalauréat en administration des affaires, option ventes ou marketing ou une combinaison de formation et d'expérience jugée équivalente; · Une (1) à trois (3) années d’expérience pertinente à la fonction. · Être en mesure de se déplacer pour couvrir principalement le territoire des MARITIMES. SALES REPRESENTATIVE – MARITIME REGION POSITION SUMMARY Being a Sales Representative at Duchesne means hitting the road in search of new business opportunities. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for achieving the sales objectives established for their territory in alignment with the Company's mission and strategic plan. Through effective presentation of the Company, its products, and services, the incumbent must demonstrate the value of Duchesne to existing and prospective customers. The incumbent carries out all activities related to the promotion, sale, and after-sales service of the Company's products and services. They are also responsible for driving sales growth through prospecting efforts, particularly among contractors and other potential customers. In addition to selling Duchesne products, the representative advises customers on product applications and merchandising strategies to maximize sales performance and ensure superior customer service. The Maritime Sales Representative is also responsible for gathering and sharing market intelligence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve territory sales objectives in accordance with the Company's mission and strategic plan. Promote and represent the Company's products and services to current and prospective customers while conveying Duchesne's image and values. Communicate Company policies to customers in a constructive and professional manner. Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers and Duchesne employees. Collaborate in establishing sales objectives for the assigned territory, taking business development goals into consideration. Effectively plan and manage activities within the assigned territory using the management tools provided. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and market development activities. Provide product, application, and merchandising recommendations to customers to optimize sales results. Monitor market trends, competition, pricing, and customer needs, and communicate relevant information to management. Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing support and follow-up. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One (1) to three (3) years of relevant sales experience. Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Maritime Provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island). REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Knowledge of the construction materials industry. Strong computer skills and ability to work with business software applications. Ability to develop and maintain quality interpersonal and business relationships. Good understanding of sales performance analysis and profitability metrics. Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent listening and communication skills. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities. Results-driven with a high degree of initiative. Functional French proficiency.
