Location: Hybrid within the Regina, Saskatchewan area Closing Deadline: August 9, 2026 (11:59PM EDT) What You Will Do As a member of the Prairie Region HAM Wetland team, you will be responsible for managing DUC wetland habitat projects in southern Saskatchewan. Duties will include: * Conducting field inspections * Operating water control infrastructure * Coordinating and negotiating with landowners to conduct project repairs and rebuilds * Managing contractors, assisting in budgeting, etc. Our successful candidate is an enthusiastic team player and an effective communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships with fellow DUC staff, municipal and provincial government staff, project landowners, and other conservation agencies and they possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills. They are self-motivated, enjoy a complex, changing environment and can manage numerous projects within tight deadlines. Requirements * A post-secondary degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, agriculture, civil engineering or other related discipline; equivalent practical field experience will also be considered. * Minimum 3 years of experience working in the field of natural resource management, agriculture and landowner relations. * A valid class 5 driver’s license. Knowledge and Assets * Experience supervising contractors would be an asset. * An understanding of rural agricultural, industry and conservation practices would be considered an asset. * Awareness of provincial Occupational Health and Safety practices. * Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. * Strong planning, reporting, administrative and project management skills. * Basic mechanical aptitude. * Experience with GPS, MS Office and satellite imagery interpretation. * Experience operating ATVs. * Ability to work long hours outdoors and perform strenuous physical tasks. Requirements

Requires a post-secondary degree or diploma in environmental science, biology, agriculture, civil engineering, or equivalent field experience.
