Our sister company - Greenbuilt Steel Structures is looking for a dynamic LGS Assembler to safely and efficiently operate assembly operations. The successful candidate will ensure steel components are manufactured accurately according to approved drawings, production files, specifications, and schedules while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities / Duties Read and understand LGS shop drawings and assembly instructions. Identify and organize studs, tracks, headers, joists, clips, and other components. Assemble wall panels according to approved shop drawings. Install studs at the correct spacing and orientation. Install headers, jamb studs, sill tracks, bridging, blocking, and required reinforcements. Use the correct screws and connection details. Check wall dimensions, height, width, openings, and diagonals. Ensure all components are installed correctly before the panel leaves the assembly station. Verify panel labels and ensure they match the production drawings. Follow the required production and site-installation sequence. Identify missing, damaged, incorrect, or improperly cut members and report them to the supervisor. Do not modify engineering or shop-drawing details without approval. Maintain good housekeeping around the assembly area. Handle completed panels safely and move them to the designated staging area. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Meet production targets while maintaining quality and accuracy. Work with other assemblers, production supervisors, and QC personnel to resolve issues. Qualifications & Skills Previous construction, framing, steel framing, manufacturing, or assembly experience is an asset. Ability to read and understand shop drawings is preferred. Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work safely with other team members. Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and work throughout the production shift. Willingness to learn LGS assembly methods and company procedures. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Working Conditions Combination of office and manufacturing plant environment Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures in plant operations Physical requirements may include lifting up to 50 lbs Flexible schedule with occasional weekend commitments.
