Our Brand Promise: Famously Tough Vacuums Make Your Whole Team Happy! Role Summary DuroVac is looking for a full-time Picker/Receiver at their Mississauga, Ontario facility. In this role, you will be responsible for picking parts for assemblers, parts orders, and receiving incoming material. Your work will help ensure the right materials are available when needed to support production and order fulfillment while following quality, health & safety, and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick and prepare parts for assemblers and parts orders based on work orders and pick lists, ensuring correct items and quantities. Stage materials for production to keep assembly running without interruption. Read and interpret work orders, pick lists, and inventory records to complete tasks correctly. Sort and organize parts and assemblies by sales order. Receive and unload incoming materials and ensure they are properly recorded and stored. Perform basic visual inspections of parts and report any issues to quality control. Handle and store materials properly to prevent damage or loss. Support shipping as needed, including preparing shipments and assisting with customs documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe, proactive manner. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process problems promptly. Dispose of skids, recycling, and garbage as required. Take on other related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Understanding of English, spoken and written: Good to above average Use of forklift: Required Physical ability to lift up to 70 LBS Time management, self-organization & hard-working Autonomy and self quality verification Ability to use standard industrial shop tools Sense of urgency and customer serviceability: Required Manage multiple priorities simultaneously Education/Experience Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment is an asset. Experience with shipping and customs documentation is an asset. Familiarity with warehouse management and ERP systems are beneficial.
