Job details

Company Description dvrgntAI is a Montréal-based neurotech startup focused on building ethical AI tools that support mental health and neurodiversity. The company’s first product, Cuddlepuff, offers a gentle, science-informed way to explore traits related to autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles. dvrgntAI also drives broader mental health and neurodiversity research through partners and contributors. The team values inclusivity, evidence-based design, and responsible innovation that centers user well-being. Role Description As a Beta Tester at dvrgntAI, you will help evaluate early versions of Cuddlepuff and related tools to ensure they are intuitive, accessible, and supportive of user needs. In this volunteer, remote role, you will perform guided test sessions, follow test scenarios, and explore features independently, documenting your experience and identifying bugs, usability issues, and areas for improvement. You will provide structured feedback through surveys, reports, and occasional interviews or focus groups, and may participate in A/B tests or pilot studies. Beta Testers collaborate with product, design, and engineering team members by sharing practical insights on user experience, content clarity, and emotional safety. Your input will help refine features and contribute to ethical, user-centered AI tools for mental health and neurodiversity. Qualifications Interest in mental health, neurodiversity, and ethical technology, with willingness to engage thoughtfully with tools related to autism, ADHD, and similar traits. Comfort using web and mobile applications, including navigating interfaces, reporting issues, and capturing basic screenshots or recordings when needed. Ability to follow testing instructions, complete surveys, and clearly describe experiences, challenges, and suggestions in written or verbal form. Strong attention to detail and observational skills, including noticing inconsistencies, confusing interactions, or emotional triggers in app usage. Reliable internet access and capacity to participate remotely in scheduled test windows or feedback sessions. Openness to sharing personal perspectives and constructive feedback in a respectful, collaborative manner; prior user testing or QA experience is a plus but not required. Alignment with dvrgntAI’s values of inclusivity, user safety, and research-informed design; lived experience of neurodivergence is welcome but not mandatory.
