Responsibilities We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our Vancouver team. This is a position for an ambitious professional with at least 3 years of administrative/reception experience. The successful candidate will be able to build positive working relationships, have a keen eye for detail, a professional demeanour, and excellent client service skills. What you’ll be doing: Greet and direct clients over the phone and in-person; Provide positive first impression to visitors of the firm; Assist with set up and clean up for meetings and in-house professional development seminars; Daily upkeep of bistro and kitchens, including re stocking snacks and beverages, loading / unloading dishwashers; Maintain up to date reception manual and telephone instructions; Create internal bookings for boardrooms as needed; Update and distribute staff phone list when new hires start; Coordinate and assist with travel arrangements for the firm; Assist with Trust payments and other accounting related tasks as needed; File-related data entry into Excel spreadsheets; Assist with social events as needed (help with planning, preparation, clean up, etc.); Assist with large projects such as Holiday Card lists, etc; Assist with File Openings and conflict searches as needed; Assist with various other miscellaneous tasks as requested. Working hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and requires flexibility as needed. What will help you succeed in this role? At least 3 years of administrative/reception experience; Excellent attention to detail; Excellent organizational skills; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Professional and polished attitude communicating with others; Ability to prioritize and multi-task; Experience in a legal setting or professional services firm is an asset. What we offer The salary range for this position is up to $52,000 per annum, dependent on years/relevance of individual experience.
