You will have the opportunity to: Work on sophisticated insurance defence and civil litigation matters Gain meaningful exposure to clients and litigation strategy Participate in questionings, mediations, court appearances and trials Work closely with experienced counsel who are committed to mentorship and professional development Develop a practice within one of Canada’s leading litigation teams Responsibilities As a member of our Alberta litigation team you will: Manage and contribute to a variety of insurance defence and civil litigation matters Draft pleadings, briefs, applications, opinions and other litigation materials Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations Conduct questionings, mediations, and chambers applications Contribute to the strategic management of complex and high‑profile matters Deliver exceptional client service standards through effective communication and file management Participate in professional development and business development activities that support practice growth What will help you succeed in this role? The associate will manage a variety of insurance defence and civil litigation files, including drafting legal materials and conducting questionings and mediations. They will also contribute to litigation strategy and provide exceptional service to national and international clients.

Candidates must have 5 to 9 years of post-call civil litigation experience, with a preference for insurance defence backgrounds. Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, along with familiarity with Alberta Rules of Court, are required.
