We're growing and looking for a couple experienced Machinists – Horizontal Boring Mill Operators to join our team. This is an opportunity to work on large, challenging, one-of-a-kind components—not repetitive production work. What You'll Do Set up and operate large Horizontal Boring Mills (manual and/or CNC). Machine large industrial components and custom-built equipment to precise tolerances. Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications. Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency and quality. Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments. Perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot machining issues as required. Work closely with engineers, welders, fabricators, and fellow machinists to complete projects successfully. Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment. What We're Looking For 5+ years of machining experience, preferably operating Horizontal Boring Mills. Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, setups, feeds, speeds, and blueprint reading. Experience machining large components and heavy industrial parts. Experience operating overhead cranes is considered a strong asset. Ability to work independently and solve complex machining challenges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Positive attitude and desire to continually learn and improve. Requirements

Applicants should have at least five years of machining experience, preferably operating horizontal boring mills, and strong knowledge of machining principles, setups, tooling, feeds and speeds, and blueprint reading. Experience with large industrial parts, independent problem-solving, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are expected; journeyperson machinists are encouraged to apply, while equivalent experience is also considered.
