This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an individual who enjoys balancing people leadership, operational excellence, customer service, and business performance in a fast-paced industrial environment. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day branch operations, overseeing production schedules, supporting customer commitments, leading Shop Managers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with project teams, production leaders, and executive management to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations. What You'll Do Lead branch operations and production scheduling activities. Ensure customer projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality expectations. Monitor workloads, capacity, labour utilization, and operational performance. Support quoting, planning, forecasting, and operational reporting activities. Develop and mentor Shop Managers and operations staff. Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and customer service. Collaborate with leaders across engineering, purchasing, project management, quality, and production teams. What We're Looking For Leadership experience within manufacturing, machining, fabrication, industrial services, or a related field. Strong operational planning, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities. Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities. Sound business and financial acumen. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality excellence. Experience with ERP systems and production management software is an asset.
