Job summary

About the Role EA AI is a fast-growing, AI-powered executive assistant startup. Our product handles the inbox, calendar, and LinkedIn for founders and executives — in their voice, on their judgment — so they get their afternoons back. With enterprise-grade security built in, we're hiring our founding Business Development Representative (BDR / SDR) to drive growth. This is an entry-level sales development and business development role reporting directly to the CEO. If you're looking to break into tech sales, SaaS sales, or startup go-to-market (GTM), this is a ground-floor seat. You'll own lead generation, prospecting, cold outreach, and appointment setting — and build the outbound engine from scratch. One metric defines success: qualified meetings booked per week. What You'll Do Outbound prospecting & lead generation: Identify and research the people who feel the pain most — founders, C-suite executives, sales and ops leaders, and the chiefs of staff and EAs who run their days. Cold outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn): Write and send cold emails, make cold calls, and run LinkedIn outreach that cuts through the noise and gets replies. (Bonus: you're selling the exact thing that makes outreach effortless.) Appointment setting & calendar management: Book, confirm, and prep high-value meetings for the CEO. Keep the pipeline full and the calendar fuller. Mission-driven pitching: You're not just selling software — you're selling people their time back. Communicate what EA AI does with clarity and conviction. CRM & pipeline tracking: Log activity, track conversion, and report on what's working. Who You Are A hunter: You're energized by cold outreach and comfortable hearing "no" on the way to "yes." A strong writer: You craft clear, compelling messages that busy executives actually read and reply to — which is the whole game here. Product-aligned: Genuine interest in AI, productivity, and how modern go-to-market teams actually work. It's easier to open doors when you believe in what's behind them. Ambitious & coachable: You want to learn how a company gets built — side-by-side with a founder — and grow into an Account Executive or GTM leadership role. A strong communicator: You bring energy and enthusiasm to outreach and conversations. Requirements Strong written communication skills. A degree or background in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is a plus — but drive matters more than your major. No prior sales experience required. We'll teach you the playbook. Why Join EA AI Founding-team role: Direct mentorship from the CEO and a real path into closing/AE roles. A product you'll actually use: You'll sell the tool that runs your own outreach, calendar, and follow-ups — and get sharper at the job every day because of it. Real momentum: The product and the security foundation are in place — you bring the velocity. Ready to start your career in tech sales? Apply now on LinkedIn.
