The Role In a Nutshell Working as an integral part of the Pre-Construction Team to design and contribute to the success of a wide array of high-end residential projects. Completing a diverse range of daily tasks to support successful projects, including: Support a Lead Designer - through Initial Consultations and Customer Discussions Build Design Specifications Packages; including Working Drawings, Millwork Packages, Details, RCP Develop a material selection package for clients & suppliers Management and procurement of finishes Maintaining budgets for all selections Coordinating of materials/finish selections to sites Overseeing templates, measures and installation of custom details Client communication Experience Required Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in residential design required, customer sales experience an asset. Technical Skills: AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory with strong spreadsheet skills and an ability to build and maintain budgets as required. Proficiency in Revit an asset. Education: Accredited interior design program an asset. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong multitasking skills is mandatory. Growth-Oriented: Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to achieving ambitious company goals. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, with a strong work ethic.
