We are a licensed group childcare centre in Burnaby serving children aged 0–36 months. We are looking for someone patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development, and well-being. Requirements Must hold at least a valid ECE Certificate Infant and Toddler Certificate is preferred Minimum 1 year of childcare work experience Experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred Must be responsible, patient, reliable, and able to work as part of a team Must be able to follow licensing requirements, centre policies, and daily routines Responsibilities Provide daily care and supervision for infants and toddlers Support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Communicate professionally with families and team members Support daily routines, including meals, diapering, nap time, indoor and outdoor play Wage Will Be Based On Qualifications And Experience. Infant and Toddler Certificate is preferred. valid First Aid Certificate is preferred. Must be reliable, patient, caring, and able to work well with infants, toddlers, families, and team members. Years Experience Required 1 Required Experience Minimum 1 year of childcare work experience is required. Experience working in a 0–3 year old infant and toddler classroom environment is preferred. The candidate should be able to support daily routines, provide responsive care, plan and lead age-appropriate circle time and learning activities, and create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to communicate professionally with children, families, and team members. Salary & Benefits Salary: $25–$27 per hour, including the ECE Wage Enhancement, depending on qualifications and experience.
