Job summary
East Guelph Family Health Group is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our growing primary care network in Guelph, Ontario. Our Family Health Group provides comprehensive primary care through East Guelph Medical Clinic (EGMC) and West Guelph Medical Clinic (WGMC). With a large and growing patient population across both locations, we have significant demand for timely, community-based psychiatric services and a strong internal referral base from our family physicians. The Opportunity The successful physician will provide outpatient psychiatric services to patients across both our East Guelph and West Guelph locations. The scope of practice will include psychiatric consultation and assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication management and ongoing psychiatric care where clinically appropriate. The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with family physicians across the Family Health Group to support coordinated mental healthcare in the community. Clinical sessions will be provided across both locations, with scheduling structured according to patient demand and physician availability. We are open to discussing full-time or part-time arrangements and aim to provide the successful physician with flexibility in developing their practice.
