JOB POSTING: LIQUID NITROGEN DELIVERY SPECIALIST Operations | EastGen | Central Nova Scotia / General Truro Area Schedule: Part-time, approximately three to four days per week Work location: This role is based in Nova Scotia and requires regular travel across the province, including frequent overnight stays. The successful candidate will also travel to Newfoundland three to four times annually for approximately one week per visit and periodically travel to New Brunswick to support Liquid Nitrogen operations. Status: Permanent, part-time Compensation: Starting at $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. We compensate our team members based on the experience and knowledge they bring to the role and review salary on an annual basis. We are currently seeking a Liquid Nitrogen Delivery Specialist to join our Operations Team. Based in Central Nova Scotia, this permanent, part-time position serves customers throughout Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. The expected schedule is three to four days per week, with three to four planned trips to Newfoundland annually, each lasting approximately one week. In this independent, customer-facing role, you will provide safe and dependable liquid nitrogen delivery, monitor tank performance, maintain accurate service records, and help customers protect critical reproductive inventory. You will also work closely with EastGen’s Genetic Advisors to strengthen customer relationships and support growth in the territory. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Travel throughout the assigned service area to safely fill customer liquid nitrogen tanks. * Monitor and document tank performance, identify concerns, and advise customers as appropriate. * Provide professional, dependable service and promote EastGen products and services with integrity. * Collaborate with Genetic Advisors in shared geographic territories to support customer needs and increase EastGen sales and market share. * Develop, maintain, and adjust delivery routes to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient service. * Use Google Maps and other digital tools to maintain delivery routes and update customer information. * Operate and maintain a fleet vehicle in accordance with EastGen’s Fleet Policy. * Complete daily work logs, delivery documents, annual inspections, and all required Transportation of Dangerous Goods records accurately and on time. * Invoice customers directly and maintain accurate customer account and service information. * Stay overnight in a hotel when service locations cannot be reached and serviced within one day. * Complete scheduled service trips to Newfoundland and, when required, support liquid nitrogen delivery in New Brunswick. * Assist with operational projects and other duties as assigned. WHAT YOU BRING * A highly motivated, self-starting approach and the ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy. * Excellent communication and customer service skills, with strong attention to detail. * Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and computer skills. * The ability to plan daily travel and logistics efficiently across a large service territory. * A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record. * Comfort spending significant time on the road and driving up to approximately 50,000 kilometres per year. * A good understanding of Transportation of Dangerous Goods safety requirements. * The ability to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 75 lb. * Strong written and spoken English proficiency. * General knowledge of the dairy or beef industries is considered an asset. * French-language skills are considered an asset.
